The Binnacle
UMM's Literary & Arts Magazine
The Binnacle is UMM's Literary & Arts Journal. For over fifty years we have published the works of literature and art of our students as well as writers and artists from around the world.
We publish a Fall and Spring edition as well as an edition from our annual Ultra-Short Competition.
All production of the journal is completed on the UMM campus by UMM students, staff, and friends.
In collaboration with UMM's new Book Arts program, we aim to produce the best literary journal in the country. The work we have published in recent years is clear evidence that we are succeeding in our aim.
