Safety Training

American Red Cross Community Adult and Child CPR/AED Training

This 4 hour course provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies for adults and children.  Upon successful completion of the class, which includes written and practical evaluation, participants will receive American Red Cross certification.  Pre-registration Required.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Upon successful completion lifeguard certification course, lifeguard training candidates will receive an American Red Cross Lifeguard and Standard First Aid certificate valid for 3 years, and a CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer certificate valid for 2 years.  Lifeguard training candidates must be at least 15 years of age, be able to demonstrate required skills.  For more information call Kevin Alley at 255-1296.  Pre-registration Required.

Virtually every sport, to some degree, has a point where the athlete(s) will have to perform at or near maximal effort. The purpose of speed, agility, and quickkness training is to execute maximal force while performing high-speed movements.  These sessions will provide sixty minutes of high intensity drills geared towards improving your speed, agility and quickness.  Pre-registration Required.

Golf Conditioning

Strength, power, flexibility, balance, core stability, body awareness, even endurance... they are all physical traits that every consistent golfer (even the fair-weather players) must possess.  This session will discuss the overall need for a golf conditioning program as well as demonstrated a golf conditionng program.  Please come dressed to participate.  Pre-registration Required.

Water Conditioning

Change up your normal exercise routine by hopping in the pool for a total body conditioning experience.  Water conditioning is an awesome cross training option for all levels of fitness and ability.  Self Directed workouts will be provided for you or follow your own routine.  Adults Only (18 years or older).
